A delicious and easy to make nutrient dense pesto recipe. Can be used as a dip, sauce, spread for sandwiches or as my personal favourite on pizza!

Ingredients

Servings: 4
Yield: 1.5-2 cups
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 pine nuts
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor
  2. 2. Process until fully blended
  3. 3. Add salt to taste
