Maple-Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

This dish is very easy to make, looks rustic, and has a potential to convert some of the brussels sprouts haters in to lovers.

Ingredients

Servings: 2
Yield:
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, washed, halved and outer leaves removed
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, toss to coat
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  4. Arrange Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a roasting pan
  5. Roast for 35-40 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are soft and browned; flip them halfway through to keep them from burning
